iPads for Constructing Learning in Science
Many schools have embraced the iPad as the device of choice in a 1:1 environment. The iPad does not just replace textbooks, but can be used to "connect, communicate, collaborate and learn collectively". Various apps for use in the science class will be explored, including those that allow the creation of digital products, using examples from middle and secondary school science students. A class set of iPads will be available for use by participants.
