ECOS magazine - Towards Environmental Sustainability Published by CSIRO, this excellent resource has an archive of their issues going back to 1974. Use as discussion starters or for information about case studies. It has articles about pollutants (fluoride and sulphur dioxide), salinity, biodiversity, renewable energy sources and environmental education.
The Environmental Literacy Council has excellent resources for teachers and students, grouped conveniently under the headings Air, Climate, Land, Water, Ecosystems, Energy, Food, Environment and Society.

Climate Change

An Inconvenient Truth study guide brings home Gore's persuasive argument that we can no longer afford to view global warming as a political issue - rather, it is the biggest moral challenge facing our global civilization. The locally produced study guide on the Australian website includes screen captures, relevant graphics, analysis of the film and how to use it in the curriculum.
Breathing Earth is a beautiful (if a little scary) animated map showing CO2 emissions, births and deaths arpound the world.
The Climate Hot Map shows global warming effects around the world.

Water Footprint This is a great site where you can find out how much water it takes to produce a cup of coffee or a piece of steak for example. You can use it with students for maths activities - draw tables and graphs.
